The Palliser Way
Progressive, innovative, and dedicated to the success of our clients, Palliser has gained a reputation for responsible management and innovative business strategies over its 20-year history. Palliser believes strong business fundamentals include a focus on relationships, solid alliances with customers and suppliers, active community support, and a working environment created by a business-oriented government.
Palliser gives back to the community through support for local programs. Palliser
supports the Pete Knight rodeo event, 4H, and funds the "Spirit of Youth" scholarship to the W.G. Murdoch High School.
Palliser has also helped fund and set up a fitness facility for the local fire department, and supports
the annual Christmas hamper program.
But by far, the most important asset at Palliser Lumber is our employees. The significant contributions from our employees have allowed us to continue moving forward despite the uncertainties and turmoil in the industry. In turn, employees are rewarded through production bonuses and company sponsored events, along with continuous encouragement to further their education. Doug Currie, Past CEO of Palliser, summarized it best: "It's not what we do, it's the people who work here; they are the entire reason we're successful."
